Cultural Exchange, Passion at Seeds For The Future 2024

In a pre-opening of the Huawei Seeds for the Future 2024, Huawei organized a cultural exchange event for the students at the Global Village, Amity University in Tashkent Uzbekistan. The cultural exchange program was attended by Mr. Shermatov Sherzod Xotamovich – The Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan alongside all 150+ students from 14 Middle East & Central Asia countries.

The students dressed in their local attire greeted the minister in their respective cultural booths, representing their countries and showcasing their cultural heritage. All students looked pumped up for the days ahead in the competition as the finals are just about to begin with the opening ceremony on 12th August. The team winning the regional competition will then move on to China for the global finals.

Seeds for the Future is Huawei’s global flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from August 11 to 17. This year’s edition brings together a record 150+ students from 14 countries across the Middle East and Central Asia region (ME&CA). The 2024 regional final is supported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the IT Education Association. 

Since its launch in 2008, Seeds for the Future has impacted and benefitted over 18,000 students from 141 countries, underscoring the program’s importance in developing global ICT talent.
