AVEVA Partners with Porsche Motorsport and Formula E Team

AVEVA has announced a multi-year technology partnership with the Porsche Formula E Team, becoming its official Technology Partner. AVEVA will provide software to support data-driven decision-making and help improve race strategy, performance, and innovation.

As part of the new partnership, AVEVA will support the Porsche Formula E team with information and insights that turn complex race and system data into actionable decisions. AVEVA’s software capabilities will help the team in a range of optimizations, from engineering efficiency and data management, to improving performance using real-time insights. In time, we plan to build advanced analytic solutions for Porsche Motorsport data scientists to further evaluate performance and reliability.

“Our partnership with the Porsche Formula E Team reflects AVEVA’s commitment to future-forward, sustainable performance in world-class motorsport, said AVEVA CEO, Caspar Herzberg. “As the electric vehicle market evolves at pace, we are excited to be advancing sustainability and harnessing the power of digital software throughout the motorsport value chain. Porsche Motorsport’s continued drive to elevate the performance and potential of Formula E aligns with our vision for intelligent, efficient, and environmentally conscious innovation. Together, we are shaping solutions that can redefine the future of responsible, high-impact electric vehicles and sustainable mobility.”

Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President Porsche Motorsport, adds: “We are very happy to welcome AVEVA at Porsche Motorsport. Formula E is a particularly digital form of motorsport, and the value of clever software solutions cannot be overstated. Our new Technology Partnership with AVEVA certainly has the potential to bring our Formula E project forward. We look forward to racing together.”
