Kodak Alaris Unveils KODAK N2000 Series Network Desktop Scanners

⏱️ 2 min read

Kodak Alaris has announced the global launch of its KODAK N2000 Series network desktop scanners, offering distributed organizations a unified capture standard to turn paper documents into accurate digital records across multiple locations. The new series includes two models—the N2040 (scanning up to 40 ppm/80 ipm) and the N2050 (scanning up to 50 ppm/100 ipm)—both built with onboard Gigabit Ethernet to streamline multi-site deployment.

Designed to replace fragmented, site-by-site scanning workflows, the series provides a clear upgrade path for organizations running earlier models such as the KODAK E1040 and S2050.

“Distributed organizations don’t have a scanner problem; they have a standardization problem,” said Megan Bevilacqua, Director of Global Product Management & Channel Operations at Kodak Alaris. “When every site captures differently, the cost shows up later as rework, delays, and audit findings. The N2000 Series gives them one capture standard they can deploy everywhere and defend when it counts. So, a teller line, a registration desk, and a claims office all produce the same trustworthy record.”

Key Features of the KODAK N2000 Series

  • Image Science & Media Handling: Combines Perfect Page technology, Dual-Light Illumination, and SurePath paper handling to capture folded, textured, or low-contrast originals, paired with ultrasonic multi-feed detection.

  • Fleet Management: Equipped with onboard Gigabit Ethernet and Network EasySetup to enforce uniform driver configurations across multi-location fleets.
  • Software & OS Compatibility: Ships with KODAK Capture Pro LE out of the box and supports TWAIN, ISIS, and WIA drivers across Windows, Windows Server, and Linux (Ubuntu).
