Yango Tech & ROOTS Partner to Advance AI Retail in UAE

Yango Tech has partnered with ROOTS, a food tech and retail company, to enhance the grocery shopping experience with advanced retail tech solutions. The collaboration covers the full order lifecycle, from strategic advice to AI-powered tools. As part of its ecosystem approach, Yango Tech offers a wide range of technologies to its partners, from strategic consulting to the latest AI-driven solutions. ROOTS is already seeing results, including the use of Yango Tech’s autonomous delivery robots, as it continues its digital transformation

ROOTS will implement multiple advanced technologies from Yango Tech Retail to enhance its retail operations, which include.

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) – a web application that enables efficient shelf-picking in offline stores to streamline in-store order processing.
  • Picker Application – an Android app designed for pickers responsible for putting together customer orders.
  • Courier Application – an Android app for couriers that displays assigned orders and payouts, while assisting with routing, batching, and delivery optimization

Additionally, Yango Tech’s Product Information Management (PIM) platform centralizes all product data in a single, reliable source. It streamlines product onboarding with the AI-powered “Image-To-Card” feature, which automatically fills in product details from a photo. The e-grocery player can create a catalogue, supporting offers, bundles, dynamic pricing, and easy product categorization with tags for a seamless shopping experience. This enhances speed to market and ensures consistent, accurate product descriptions across platforms, boosting customer satisfaction.
