Alongside the Microsoft 365 launch, Veeam has opened private previews of Intelligent ResOps for Veeam Data Platform and Okta.
Veeam has announced the general availability of Veeam Intelligent ResOps for Microsoft 365, an add-on to Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365. The offering provides visibility into AI agent activity, data access and backup protection across Microsoft 365 environments.
The add-on connects to Veeam Data Cloud without requiring data migration or changes to the existing architecture. According to Veeam, it helps organizations identify AI agents, track AI-driven file changes, locate sensitive data and identify redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROT) data.
It also enables teams to check backup coverage, identify gaps in protection and use natural-language queries to investigate data, access permissions, AI agents and backup status.
Veeam says these capabilities can help organizations manage data exposure, reduce unnecessary storage costs and assess the impact of unwanted changes to files.

Veeam Expands Intelligent ResOps to Other Platforms
Alongside the Microsoft 365 launch, Veeam has opened private previews of Intelligent ResOps for Veeam Data Platform and Okta.
The Veeam Data Platform offering provides a consolidated view of protected infrastructure, workloads and files. It also supports searches across production and protected data, backup coverage checks and recovery with restore-point context. General availability is expected later in Q4 2026.
The Okta offering focuses on identity recovery. It creates immutable restore points for 29 types of Okta objects, including users, groups, applications, policies and administrator roles. Teams can compare the current environment against a known-good state and restore affected objects and their relationships.
Veeam also plans to open private previews for GitHub, Azure DevOps and Google IAM in Q4 2026.
Availability
Veeam Intelligent ResOps for Microsoft 365 is generally available as an add-on to Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 in Foundation and Advanced editions. It is also available through Veeam Cloud & Service Providers (VCSPs).
Veeam Intelligent ResOps for Veeam Data Platform and Okta is available in private preview to qualified customers. Previews for GitHub, Azure DevOps and Google IAM are planned for Q4 2026.
