Cisco expands its Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, adds liquid- and air-cooled compute systems by Supermicro to its AI infrastructure portfolio.
Cisco is expanding its Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA through a new partnership with Supermicro, adding Supermicro’s liquid- and air-cooled compute systems to Cisco’s AI infrastructure portfolio. The systems will support high-density GPU deployments and be offered as part of Cisco’s validated AI infrastructure solutions.

Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA and Supermicro Highlights
According to Cisco, the partnership will add Supermicro liquid- and air-cooled systems to its AI infrastructure portfolio, including rack-scale and high-density GPU systems. The offering will support rack-to-fabric liquid cooling, combining Cisco liquid-cooled AI networking systems with Supermicro liquid-cooled servers.
It will support AI workloads including large-scale model training and high-throughput inference on platforms such as NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 and NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8.
The expanded Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA will also offer NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP)-compliant solutions for neocloud and sovereign cloud customers. The architecture combines Cisco Silicon One switches at the front end with NVIDIA Spectrum-X-based switches at the back end, unified through Cisco Nexus One.
Cisco is also expanding its Enterprise Reference Architectures to include the latest generation of NVIDIA AI infrastructure.

Availability
Cisco will begin offering Supermicro compute solutions as part of the Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA beginning in October 2026.
