Interview: EuroTech, Re-imagining Hybrid Workspace

In conversation with Michael Andersen, Founder and CEO of EuroTech ME, as he discusses EuroTech’s IT and AudioVisual solutions and how they are reshaping Hybrid workspace for customers.

Can you please tell us more about EuroTech, your presence in the Middle East, and your solutions portfolio?

EuroTech was conceived from a deep-rooted passion for entrepreneurship and a vision to fill a niche in the IT/AV sector across the Middle East. Over the past 14 years, we’ve successfully bridged the technological needs of our clients, ranging from governments in the UAE and KSA to Fortune 500 and blue-chip companies. Our expansive solutions encompass both IT and state-of-the-art Audiovisual services. This dual expertise allows us to cater to the ever-evolving demands of modern businesses, especially in this era where collaborative technologies and video conferencing are paramount. Our unyielding commitment to quality means every solution undergoes rigorous testing before it reaches our clients. Our growth is also evident in our recent expansion with the inauguration of our KSA office, further solidifying our footprint in the region.

With the Hybrid Work Model gaining momentum, how are you enabling customers with their Hybrid set-up?

The shift to hybrid work has reshaped the corporate landscape. At EuroTech, we recognize that hybrid work is not just about remote operations but involves optimizing office spaces while ensuring robust and secure remote access to resources. With our keen understanding of regional intricacies and global standards, we’ve been fast-tracking procurement processes, aligning with global IT teams, and partnering with top-tier providers. Our solutions, from cloud-based WiFi to antivirus and remote management, ensure businesses operate efficiently, irrespective of their chosen work model.

Can you talk about a customer project in the Middle East where EuroTech has added value and saved IT costs for the customer?

Certainly. One of our pivotal projects involved a collaboration with a large government investment firm. The complexities of serving such a significant entity posed a set of unique challenges. Nonetheless, our teams rose to the occasion, delivering a holistic solution that catered to the firm’s specific video conferencing and other IT/AV requirements. Through proactive planning, leveraging our vast network of suppliers, and a deep understanding of their operational needs, we were able to establish a state-of-the-art office environment for them, achieving both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

With major shifts in IT environments globally, how are you supporting customers to stay relevant with changing IT needs?

At EuroTech, we remain agile and informed. We’re always in the exploration phase, testing and integrating pioneering technologies from global suppliers. Our approach ensures our clients are always equipped with the latest advancements, from AI-driven solutions to sustainable products.

Your Outlook for the year 2023 and the focus for 2024?

2023 marked significant local growth for EuroTech, especially with our expansion into KSA. Moving into 2024, our aim is to further strengthen our presence, adding even more innovations to our portfolio.
