Geeta Raghuvanshi, Chief Technology & Data Officer at Blue – Al-Futtaim shares here views on diversity and inclusion, her journey and advice for aspiring women in an exclusive chat with Techitup ME
What are your views on this year’s IWD 2025 theme “Accelerate Action”, how can we truly achieve diversity and inclusion in the workplace?
Geeta Raghuvanshi: “Accelerate Action” is a powerful call to move beyond discussions and into real, measurable progress toward diversity and inclusion. While conversations about gender equity have increased, true change happens when organizations take deliberate, sustained action to break barriers, challenge biases, and create opportunities for all.
Can you share your journey into the tech world and what inspired you to pursue this, where did it all start?
Geeta Raghuvanshi: My career has been shaped by key milestones—stepping into leadership roles, launching initiatives that drive innovation, and building solutions that create real impact. Each milestone has reinforced my belief that representation matters. Women in leadership bring fresh perspectives, foster collaboration, and drive business success. The more we pave the way, the easier it becomes for the next generation to follow.
Geeta Raghuvanshi: MY MOM! I am one of three sisters, and my mom has played a big role in shaping who we are. Her strength, wisdom, sacrifices and the way she balanced everything with grace has truly made me the person I am today.
