Nutanix and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) in Saudi Arabia have signed an MoU to advance the Ministry’s digital infrastructure. The agreement covers hybrid multicloud technologies, business continuity and cybersecurity, as well as national technical skills development.

The MoU was signed during LEAP Saudi Arabia 2026 in Riyadh by Dr. Abdullhameed Abdullah Aleliwi, Deputy Minister for Information Technology and Digital Transformation at the Ministry, and Talal Al-Saif, Regional Director for Saudi Arabia at Nutanix, demonstrating a partnership between government leadership and global technology expertise.
Nutanix said the agreement will support the modernization of MEWA’s digital infrastructure through hybrid multicloud technologies and AI. It will also enable applications and workloads to run across data centers and cloud environments, with a focus on business continuity, disaster recovery and cybersecurity.
The agreement also includes knowledge transfer and training to develop local expertise in hybrid multicloud and modern infrastructure management.
