UAE-Born Ujitsu App Launches with AI Tools for Jiu-Jitsu

Ujitsu, a UAE-developed digital platform for Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, has officially launched globally, aiming to create a unified ecosystem for athletes, coaches, and academies. Designed by practitioners for practitioners, the app leverages AI-driven tools to enhance training, engagement, and overall performance.

The platform introduces several AI-powered features:

  • Coach AI: provides personalized skill development guidance
  • Nutrition AI: helps athletes optimize diet for performance
  • Body AI: supports recovery and wellness tracking

Ujitsu also offers practical tools for day-to-day training and community engagement, including class scheduling, sparring partner matching, progress tracking, and leaderboards for athletes and academies. The app is currently expanding into key markets across Europe and the United States.

Jiu-Jitsu has grown rapidly in recent years, transitioning from a niche martial art to one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. In the UAE, the sport is recognized as a national discipline, with over 125,000 participants, including 85,000 schoolchildren. Despite its growth, the global community remains fragmented, with communication and training resources scattered across platforms.

Ujitsu aims to address these challenges by providing a centralized, easy-to-use platform for both beginners and experienced practitioners. For coaches and academies, it offers management tools to simplify class organization, communication, and student engagement. The platform also allows brands to engage with athletes, creating sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

The app’s launch reflects the UAE’s ongoing efforts to promote Jiu-Jitsu on a global scale, extending the country’s sporting legacy into the digital realm. By combining technology with the sport’s core values of discipline, respect, and community, Ujitsu positions itself as a tool for both personal growth and industry-wide connectivity.
