ManageEngine Boosts Security Offerings with AI, Unified Platform

Sujoy Banerjee, Associate Director at ManageEngine, in conversation with Techitup ME, highlights AI-powered, cloud-compatible unified security tools designed to simplify threat detection and response across complex IT environments.

Please tell us about your GISEC 2025 presence. What was on showcase this year?

At GISEC 2025, we focused on showcasing our ManageEngine Unified Security Platform, which integrates all the key products in our security portfolio. Organizations today are moving away from using fragmented tools and siloed data; they’re looking for centralized platforms that offer proactive detection and mitigation across their entire IT landscape.

We’ve brought together our Privileged Access Management (PAM), SIEM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Unified Endpoint Management solutions into one cohesive ecosystem. This unified approach ensures customers benefit from holistic visibility and enhanced coordination across their security stack, all within a single platform.

What cyber security challenges are you seeing among enterprises in the Middle East, and how is ManageEngine addressing them?

There are several key challenges facing enterprises today. Firstly, the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks, attackers are leveraging advanced technologies just as defenders are. Secondly, the rapid adoption of cloud and hybrid infrastructure has created complex environments that are harder to secure. And thirdly, there is a noticeable shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals, making it difficult for organizations to keep pace with evolving threats.

At ManageEngine, we’re addressing these challenges by embedding AI-driven contextual insights into our solutions. This allows organizations to predict and detect threats more accurately and respond before an attack escalates. Our platforms are designed to automate much of the heavy lifting, helping organizations stay protected even with lean security teams.

With cloud and hybrid-cloud adoption on the rise, how is ManageEngine helping secure these complex infrastructures?

Cloud security is a major priority for us. While ManageEngine has traditionally offered on-premise solutions, nearly all of our core products are now available in the cloud, with identical security capabilities and compliance standards.

We’re also integrating AI and machine learning deeply into our cloud offerings to help anticipate threats in real-time. This isn’t new for us, we’ve been working with AI for over a decade, and our solutions are built with AI-native features that align with both current and future cybersecurity needs.

How do your SIEM and endpoint security tools stand out from competitors in the region?

Our key differentiators lie in deployment flexibility and in-house AI innovation. All ManageEngine security tools are available both on-premise and, in the cloud, giving customers the freedom to choose based on their infrastructure needs.

Secondly, our AI capabilities, including threat detection and incident correlation, are developed entirely in-house, ensuring full data privacy and easier compliance with local and global regulations like GDPR and PCI DSS. Our solutions are designed to meet region-specific compliance standards, which is critical for customers operating in regulated industries across the Middle East.

How is ManageEngine leveraging AI to anticipate and predict cyber threats before they materialize?

We recently introduced our Zia AI agent, which functions as a unified intelligent assistant across our product suite. This agent is highly adaptable, it can be customized for various use cases, such as HR or sales, and integrates seamlessly with our security tools.

Zia proactively analyzes behavioral patterns and environmental factors to predict phishing attempts, anomalies, or potential breaches before they happen. It then coordinates with relevant security products in real time to mitigate or neutralize threats. This AI-first approach ensures faster response times and minimizes operational risk, even in hybrid environments.
