Submer has announced the signing of a MoU with Edgecore Networks, to collaborate on AI-ready data center infrastructure opportunities across META.
The collaboration brings together complementary capabilities across critical layers of the AI infrastructure stack. Submer provides advisory and consultancy, data center design and build, IT integration, power infrastructure and advanced thermal management. Edgecore brings its open, high-performance networking portfolio, spanning AI/ML switches, data center networking, optical networking and disaggregated infrastructure designed to support demanding, high-bandwidth and low-latency workloads.
The companies noted that, as AI adoption accelerates across the region, the infrastructure required to support it is becoming increasingly complex. The rapid deployment of GPU-intensive workloads is driving higher rack densities, greater power requirements and significantly greater thermal loads, while sovereign AI initiatives are accelerating the need for scalable, resilient and locally deployable infrastructure.
