IWD 2025: Amrita Ghanty, Sr. Marketing Manager, Cyble

Amrita Ghanty Sr. Marketing Manager – Channel & Field (META) at Cyble talks about how a multi-faceted approach is required to achieve diversity and inclusion in the workplace

Amrita Ghanty: “Accelerate Action” is a timely reminder that we cannot afford to be complacent. This IDW 2025 lets make a powerful and necessary call to move beyond awareness and into tangible change. To truly achieve diversity and inclusion in the workplace, a multi-faceted approach is essential. This begins with actively addressing systemic bias by recognizing and challenging unconscious prejudices that influence hiring and promotion, and implementing fair, transparent processes to minimize these biases. Simultaneously, fostering inclusive cultures where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard is crucial, achieved through promoting open communication, encouraging diverse perspectives, and establishing employee resource groups to support underrepresented communities. Furthermore, ensuring equal opportunities for training, development, and advancement, addressing the gender pay gap and other forms of economic inequality, and supporting flexible work arrangements to promote better work-life balance are all vital components of a truly inclusive workplace.

Amrita Ghanty: I moved to the UAE in 2013 and began working with the cybersecurity industry with a VAD in their Marketing and Sales department. I have served in multiple VAD’s since then covering the GCC region in terms of handling Channel and field marketing. Currently I am with Cyble and the rising demand within the threat intel, dark web and deep fakes makes it even more exciting. Everyday is a new learning for me.

Amrita Ghanty: My mother has been my lifelong role model, embodying the unwavering principle, ‘The show must go on,’ regardless of life’s challenges. Her unwavering discipline and strong moral compass have instilled in me the work ethic and values essential for success.

Closing the gender gap wont happen overnight. Though this industry has traditionally been predominantly male dominated, it is now diversifying, and women are being increasingly accepted. The current issue with cybersecurity space is the technology skill gap and this can be achieved by enabling yourself with the upcoming technologies and its relevant certification and self-study.

However, achieving success in any field demands dedication, discipline and hard work. Be fearless, women can do anything.
