Navigating 2025: A Transformation Journey at Southcomp Polaris

By Benoit Malraison, Vice President, Africa, Southcomp Polaris, part of Mindware

2025 has been a year of transformation and adaptation for Southcomp Polaris, part of Mindware which has successfully overcome the multiple challenges of a rapidly evolving market.

In a context marked by strong technological momentum and regulatory upheavals, our company has demonstrated its ability to anticipate and adapt. The year has been shaped by two major types of challenges: those related to our own internal transformation and those imposed by market evolution.

Large-Scale Structural Modernization

On the internal front, we have successfully completed a vast modernization project of our information system. The deployment of new ERP, WMS, and Business Intelligence tools, coupled with the merger of our French entities and the implementation of optimized processes, represents a major evolution in our organization. These structural investments now enable us to gain efficiency and responsiveness.

A Booming Market

The market context has proven particularly demanding. Regulatory changes have forced us to rethink our logistics routes and administrative organization. At the same time, the anticipation of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and the 2030 World Cup has generated unprecedented excitement, combining business intensification and technological acceleration.

This dynamic has been accompanied by an explosion in cyberattacks, creating considerable demand for expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. These pressures on skills, resources, and investment capacity have constituted a major challenge for the entire sector.

Agility as a Response

Faced with these challenges, our strategy has been built around several axes. We have focused on the agility of our teams by carrying out targeted reorganization and investing massively in our new information system. The adaptation of our processes and the optimization of our supply chain have enabled us to maintain our operational excellence.

Aware of the tensions surrounding critical skills, we have significantly strengthened our teams by hiring new talents specialized in cloud, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. This skills enhancement positions us favorably to support our clients in their own digital transformations.

A Posture of Listening and Anticipation

Our ability to overcome these challenges also relies on continuous monitoring and active listening to the market. This approach allows us to anticipate changes and stay closely attuned to the needs of our clients and partners.

Looking ahead to 2026, Southcomp Polaris, part of Mindware approaches the future with confidence, strengthened by its investments, reinforced teams, and proven ability to transform challenges into growth opportunities.
